My love of place, this place, Pacifica, runs deep. I love it here and sometimes I don't want to leave. But most people don't get it. The grass is always greener and all that.
My frequent outburst, "Can you believe we live here?" this from a bench on the recreation trail
Yes, there is a there there and what about the here, here? - by jove! Hear! Hear! We love it!
And I say to outsiders (and insiders, bleech, commissioners and council and bureaucrats), don't ruin a great thing. Don't ruin the great town that this is.
Stay and care and help make our town better, stay and fight for democracy. Stay and fight for the potential of this already great, could be even better, coastal gem!
Scamper like a fraidy cat if you must, but to those who have a little bravery, stay, stay with me and press on to improve this town. I'm staying - you in?

Many adventures happened so we'll catch up eventually. Can't wait to share the stories!

]]><![CDATA[2019]]>Thu, 17 Jan 2019 00:52:22 GMThttp://www.lisawarns.com/lisas-blog/2019Here we are, well into the new year. On Feb. 5, the Chinese Year of the Pig begins. Pig symbolizes good fortune and luck, so we at least have that. Change is in the air. Hope remains, clinging tattered on the clothesline. Earth is hurting. All the animals, including the human animals, are challenged by climate change. Music continues to soothe the soul, it may be our best bet to help us through these dark times. And don't forget to dance! A jig and a spring in your step will keep you sane.]]><![CDATA[Another Fabulous Trip to Scotland!]]>Tue, 19 Jun 2018 19:54:44 GMThttp://www.lisawarns.com/lisas-blog/another-fabulous-trip-to-scotland

Where did the first three months of 2016 go?
So I am not going to spend too much time on this blog, but just to let you all know, I am trying some new things. I will be making my own stamps to do some printmaking. Also, I will be doing various art projects using multimedia, stay tuned!
